Puppy Training Classes
The Practice has started puppy training classes on a Wednesday evening again.
The classes take place at the Surgery from 7 – 8 pm and will be run by Terri Corbett a local dog trainer, together with members of the practice.
There will be up to 10 dogs to each course – the course consists of four weekly classes covering dog behaviour and training, socialisation, legal aspects of dog ownership and basic health and grooming, followed by tea and coffee. The course is primarily for puppies but is open to anyone interested even if the dog is slightly older. The classes will be available on a first come, first served basis. Places must be pre-booked in advance by calling in or telephoning the Practice.
The fee for the 4 week course will be £30.00 (£7.50 per class). The full course fee of £30.00 will be payable at the time of booking!

All classes will consist of training on - focusing - sit - down – walking to heal – wait – stay – recall.

Trainer - Terri Corbett
Terri has worked with dogs for the last 10 years, starting in private boarding kennels, moving between there and rescue centres and she is now at one of England's largest dog training schools where she has been for the last 3 years. As well as instructing dog training classes she also takes dogs home to stay while the owners are on holiday.
She has studied Animal Care and Management at Smallford College and has almost finished her degree in Canine Behaviour and Training run through Hull University.
